Power Grid Corporation has acquired two special purpose vehicles (SPV), Vataman Transmission (VTL) and Koppal II Gadag II Transmission (KIIGIITL), from PFC Consulting to implement power transmission projects
Power Grid has secured these two projects under tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) conducted by PFC Consulting
The company has acquired KIIGIITL on 26 December, 2023, to establish a transmission system for transmission scheme for Integration of Renewable Energy Zone (Phase-II) in Koppal-II (Phase-A & B) and GadagII (Phase-A) in Karnataka on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis
VTL has been acquired to set up transmission system for transmission system for evacuation of additional seven GW of renewable energy (RE) power from Khavda RE park under Phase-III of Part B under BOOT basis
